A French student had, during the summer, made the reservation of a nicely furnished studio in a prestigious building near the university where she was enrolled. She did it via a popular platform for renting apartments. Being in Europe at the time of booking, she had to rely on the advertiser’s information and photos.

Everything seemed perfect until the time of moving in. Only a few days before the start of the university term, the studio assigned to her was not the one that was advertised at all. It was nothing like the studio that had seduced her. In addition to being poorly furnished and equipped, the studio had not been cleaned following the departure of the previous occupant.

It was only when she asked to live in the studio she had chosen, that she was informed that the photos were generic photos, not necessarily corresponding to the apartments advertised on the platform.

Despite her insistence on obtaining a clean apartment more suited to the one that interested her, the young woman was unable to obtain satisfaction. Refusing to live in this disappointing studio, she decided to resume her research and had the pleasure of discovering GESTHAB.

Solution

We offered her a luxury “turnkey” apartment in a building close to the one where she had made the initial reservation, at a lower price. She was delighted to note, during the visit, that the apartment was identical to the photos on our site and immediately confirmed her intention to live there.

In conclusion

We understand very well that it can be very difficult to make an informed choice of a place to live without being able to validate in person the conformity of the places to what is offered online. Trust is essential. It is for this reason that all the photos of our apartments correspond exactly to reality.
