Crisis

A family who had just arrived in Montreal to start a new life with their 2 young children was shocked to learn that the apartment they had reserved had been allocated to other people, without even having been notified. They arrived in a period of high tourist traffic during which there were no more hotel rooms and very few apartments available. They repeatedly called their hosting provider to offer alternative options but to no avail. No one answered the calls. They were there, exhausted, on the sidewalk with mountains of suitcases, their young children and with the need to find a place to live in no time.

Solution

The building doorman hastened to call us to find out if we could accommodate the family. Our GESTHAB team had just completed the preparation of an apartment in the same building where they had booked with the other accommodation provider. So, we offered to move them to our brand-new apartment without delay.

In conclusion

The family was able to immediately settle into an apartment offering great comfort and they were able to rest and resume a normal and hassle-free life. We were fortunate enough to welcome them for the few months it took them to buy a house and settle permanently in Canada.

The entire GESTHAB team made sure to take care of all the necessities, from the moment they moved in, to the last day of their stay with us, so they would feel happy having chosen Canada as their host country.
